was wondering how this would play out and if the actual physics of it would be ignored, as I kept thinking the whole time that they were way too close to earth. Beause such a big explosion is bound to go beyond its target, just like how large bombs have worked on earth, with a huge destructive wave after impact. So for something of that size?? Ngl they’d probably have to be out of the solar system if they wanted to completely avoid it
also, interesting that throughout this story, the only outsiders they’ve had to worry about and deal with were the IDSC, since there ain’t no way no other countries would just sit by and watch all of this happen, and not even say anything about it. (coming from someone who lives in the us, they’d 100% try to start conflict over it)
